Founder & Executive Director
Robine Bots
Pronouns: She | Her
​Robine Bots is the founder, executive director and animal care manager of Harmony Farm Sanctuary. Robine is also a licensed marriage and family therapist and runs her practice both online and at the sanctuary. Robine makes it her goal to help spread empathy, kindness and compassion to both humans and animals. Outside of sanctuary and work life, Robine enjoys hiking in the woods, paddle boarding in the rivers and lakes, listening to live music or visits to the coast with her two kids and her dogs.
Board Chair
Alex Cerussi
Pronouns: She | Her
Alex Cerussi (she/her) serves as Harmony Farm Sanctuary’s Board Chair. She has been volunteering with the sanctuary since 2021 and refers to it as her happy place! Alex works as the Senior State Policy Manager at Mercy For Animals, a global non-profit organization dedicated to constructing a more just and sustainable food system. In her role, she lobbies on state and local policies related to farm animals, plant-based food procurement, and the environment. She is also a licensed attorney and serves as Co-Chair of the American Bar Association TIPS Animal Law Committee Policy and Alliances Subcommittee. In her free time, Alex enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, acting, and spending time with her family, including her two rescue dogs and rescue cat.
Vice Chair
Cory Cerussi
Pronouns: He/Him
Cory Cerussi has been a volunteer with Harmony Farm Sanctuary since moving to Central Oregon in 2021. As Vice Chair, Cory assists with strategic and financial planning, including seeking community grants to advance our animal welfare, advocacy, and education programs. In addition to helping with HFS, Cory is involved in coaching and captaining ultimate frisbee teams in Bend, performing with local theaters, and pouring wine at the Bend Wine Bar.
Board Member
Brian Hoffmeister
Pronouns: He | Him
Brian joins the Board as a general member after starting to volunteer at Harmony Farms Sanctuary in early 2022. Professionally, Brian has worked for the American Red Cross, managing training operations, for the last 15 years. Outside of work, he can be found running trails around Central Oregon, rolling dice at his D&D table, or spending time with his family.
Treasurer
Terri Libert
Pronouns:
Terri is thrilled to have discovered Harmony Farm Sanctuary, volunteering since May 2022 and then joining the Board as Secretary. She has worked in Finance and Accounting for over 30 years, primarily in higher education, and is currently at OSU-Cascades in Bend, OR. She is a long-time vegan, animal lover, and crazy cat lady!

Genna Kashian
Pronouns: She | Her
Genna found the farm as a volunteer in 2023 and fell in love with the animals and mission. Genna has a background as being a collaborative partner who brings teams forward while delivering innovative solutions with a work history in project management and people strategies. She enjoys hiking, reading, and singing karaoke.

Sue Amar

Sue joins the Board as a general member after being engaged and supporting Harmony Farms Sanctuary over the past 5 years since 2019. She assists with strategic planning, operations, and fundraising. Sue has worked in software technology for the past 17 years, has been at Salesforce for 12 years, and is specifically focused on Nonprofit & Higher Education solutions for the last 5 years. She brings nonprofit business acumen, executive leadership, and scale expertise to the Board of Directors. Outside of work, she can be found on her gravel bike or roaming in her van part-time following her passion for adventure.

Tours, Communication & Fundraising Event Coordinator
Shari Dumont
Pronouns: She | Her
Shari moved to Bend in 2019 and quickly found Harmony Farm Sanctuary. Vegan for 8 plus years she was excited to find a loving sanctuary to volunteer with. She continues to feed and care for the animals weekly while guiding visitors on sanctuary tours most weekends. She loves putting out the monthly newsletters and coordinating fundraising events that benefit her animal friends. She feels great gratitude for the opportunity to volunteer with so many amazing people and for the friendships she has formed with the animals. Outside of volunteering, she enjoys spending time with her husband, golfing and going on adventures with her dog, Peaches.
Community Engagement
and Advocacy Team
Carolyn Miller
Pronouns: She | Her
Carolyn joined the Harmony team in July 2022, and currently leads the Community Engagement and Advocacy Team in their work. Carolyn is a retired public school administrator who has been advocating for animal welfare her entire life, and is thrilled to have found a home at Harmony Farm Sanctuary. Carolyn lives in Sisters with her husband and two dogs, and enjoys working in her pollinator garden.
Social Media Manager
Tracey Hulick
Pronouns: She | Her
Tracey serves the Leadership Team as the Social Media Manager after starting volunteering at Harmony Farm Sanctuary in September 2020. She works as the Director of Operations for The Humane League, an international nonprofit that works to end the abuse of animals raised for food through institutional and individual change. Outside of work Tracey can be found exploring the trails with her dog, creating art and cooking new recipes.
Animal Care Assistant
Kelly Sheets
Pronouns: She | Her
​Kelly began helping at the farm in 2017 when she realized her friend Robine had embarked on this amazing and awesome plan to help farmed animals. Being part of the farm and helping it grow has changed her life for the better in innumerable ways. She is an Executive and Personal Coach and finds that the animals are excellent teachers who help be better at her work and more engaged in her life. When not at the farm or working she is most often on the trails, out in nature or traveling overseas.
Volunteer Coordinator
Allison Loeb
Pronouns: She | Her
Allison began volunteering at Harmony Farm Sanctuary in 2021 after moving to Bend. She previously managed Rancho Compasion Sanctuary in Nicasio, California and was thrilled to find a community at Harmony Farm Sanctuary where she could continue caring for rescued residents and introducing people to the many joys of volunteering time at a farm sanctuary. Allison loves walking her two elderly rescue dogs around Bend and swapping vegan news with her daughter.
