Dear Friend,

As we begin the 2025 Central Oregon Gives Campaign, I wanted to personally reach out and share my gratitude with you. Your support over the years has helped shape Harmony Farm Sanctuary into what it is today—a safe haven for more than 150 beloved animal residents, and a place where compassion is lived, taught, and shared every single day.

Because of you, we’ve not only provided lifelong care to our permanent residents, but we’ve also been able to rescue, rehabilitate, or rehome more than 1,200 animals across Oregon. Your generosity is woven into every barn, every pasture, and every life saved here.

This year, we’re aiming to raise $75,000 to complete several urgent and long-overdue projects that directly impact the safety and well-being of our animals, volunteers, and community. With your help, we hope to:

 

• Build a much-needed new shelter for our sheep

• Make essential farm safety upgrades

• Paint and renovate our main barn—the heart of the sanctuary where our animals, volunteers, and guests gather

• Purchase a large evacuation trailer so we can respond quickly during wildfires, neglect cases, and community emergencies

 

These improvements are more than projects—they are investments in safety, stability, and compassion. They are what enable us to be there in the moments when animals and people need us the most.

At the end of 2024, Harmony Farm Sanctuary reached two deeply meaningful milestones:

• We celebrated our 10th anniversary, and we became officially accredited by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS).

• GFAS accreditation represents the highest standard of humane and ethical animal care worldwide. It affirms our commitment to exceptional caregiving practices, responsible operations, and the transparent, mission-driven work that donors like you expect and deserve. Reaching these milestones in the same year felt like both a celebration of our past and a promise for our future—and your support played a direct role in making them possible.

 

Harmony has also become a trusted part of our broader community, offering our free Compassionate Curriculum for youth and adults with developmental disabilities, assisting the Sheriff’s Department during cruelty and neglect cases, and stepping up during wildfire seasons when emergency animal care is urgently needed. None of this would be possible without your partnership.
